Improve processing speed of Scalable Terrain Model with draped aerial rasters
When we make Scalable Terrain Model be draped with large-size aerial photos, processing speed is very slow, such as zoom in, zoom out, rotate etc.
Try using 3SM scalable mesh terrain. STM is now largely replaced by 3SM.
Used aerial photo is 2.78GB which is pretty normal in Chinese road and railway design. Recently processing speed is very slow. It will be even more slower when having 3D models...See attached video, it will cost several seconds when zooming in and rotating...
